Before With Shoes That Will Harm Feet

High heels should only be worn occasionally. If you wear them daily, you run the risk of shortening your calf muscles, which in turn can cause an inflammation of you Achilles tendon. This can make it difficult to walk in bare feet. High heels also increase the risk of getting plantar fasciitis: a painful degenerative condition that affects the heel bone. For daily use, you may want to wear a fashion women shoes with a comfortable heel of about one inch in height.

If your work requires you to walk a lot or stand for long periods, make sure to wear fashion women shoes that support the heel of your foot and that absorb shock. You can add padded insoles to those fashion women shoes that are too hard or thin.

The Info About Kate Middleton's Wedding Shoes

At online betting agency William Hill, people are putting money on who will provide Kate’s footwear for the big day, and London-based designer Aruna Seth is currently one of the top contenders. Just last month Alison blogged about an amazing pair of pink Aruna Seth shoes, and there are also plenty of classic ivory designs in the collection. The designer herself has suggested the “Bryony” shoe (pictured above) as a perfect option for Kate’s nuptials. Seth also shared the following words of wisdom, which you too may find useful when shoe shopping for your celebration: “Kate Middleton’s shoes should be simple, elegant with a hint of glamour to match her style; with a reasonable heel-height to be in proportion to Kate’s petite frame. I’d recommend her choosing effortless, classic shoes that will stand the test of time. In a shoeaholic’s world, choosing appropriate shoes should be as important as the grandeur of the dress.“

Fall Hair Trend: The Kitten Bump

The legendary Garren of Garren New York Salon was backstage at the Anna Sui show on Feb 16. Garren says about the hair for the Fall 2011 Anna Sui collection, “We wanted to capture a moment in the ‘60s, exploring the question, ‘How did Mod get to Baroque?’ There was this Edwardian crossover, with romantic velvets and feathers. We were also inspired by gorgeous costumes from the Ballet Russe.”

Two ‘60s “sex kittens,” Brigitte Bardot and Julie Christie in the groundbreaking film “Darling,” were the inspiration behind long, swingy looks with extra height at the crown.

« First, since many of the models were arriving straight from other shows with product in their hair, hair was lightly misted with water before their blow-outs to prep hair for styling. In case models had a lot of product build-up in their hair, René Furterer Naturia Dry Shampoo was at every hairstylist’s station to cleanse and refresh hair instantly.

« For full-on volume, René Furterer Volumea Volumizing Conditioning Spray was spritzed on hair and massaged into roots before blow-drying. “The Volumea spray creates the foundation for the style and provides hold,” says Garren.

« For models with wavy hair, René Furterer Acanthe Curl Enhancing Leave-in Fluid was applied instead of Volumea, but it was kept an inch-and-a-half away from roots to maximize lift at the crown. Both products delivered volume with movement. “I wanted the hair to float,” says Garren.

« Each model was styled according to hair texture, length and face shape. Which meant deep side parts for some, classic ‘60s middle parts for others. And because eyebrow-grazing bangs were a quintessential Mod look—think Marianne Faithfull—some girls were given silky spills of faux fringe. Hair was parted in the center, and two skinny sections were secured with tiny anchors. Next, clip-on bangs were clipped into place and artfully trimmed to look perfectly natural.

« To create the “kitten bump,” two sections of hair at the crown were rolled into jumbo rollers. Once rollers were removed, sections were lightly back-combed. The finishing touch: René Furterer Vegetal Finishing Spray for light control.

Men Clothing Style For Spring/Summer 2011

Men's clothing styles for spring / summer 2011
1. A marina jumper -
it could be warmer, but when the sun goes down, it will still be cold. Pick up a medium to thick knit version and keep it on hand for these occasions.

2. A cotton trench coat -
still England secured the rain is coming!

3. A khaki suit -
with the sun begins to show his face a little more, it's time to move out of wool and flannel fabric and in some cotton.

4. Go sockless -
This is my own personal way to determine when spring is here - I want to get your ankles off!

5. An unstructured blazer -
Another important element when it gets a little chilly. By unstructured I think it is a natural shoulder and is not tailored to your body.

6. Colored chinos -
This will really start to pick up the pace in the months to come, believe me.

7. A denim jacket -
See my previous article on this to see why this will always make the S / S list.

7. Patterned pocket squares -
It's not summer quite yet, so you will still be wearing your blazers, jackets and suits regularly.

8. Colorful ribbons -
just check out my article on the shirt and tie color combinations to see how it's done.
